The band didn't have their legs immediately underneath them, and were a little taken by the consistent instrument problems (ones that wouldn't happen if they didn't end every show... in what's becoming oh-so-yawnsome "smash it all" ending) After fumbling through two songs or so... the band became chatty with Detroit crowd and gave the first of many warm and memorable quotes. As Conrad was trying to get his guitar (that continued to feed in and out) to play "Another Morning Stoner" a little hand extended from the crowd offering a bottle of Captain Morgan's. Gleefully excepted, "You know... this isn't going to help matters." | ||
