The band didn't have their legs immediately underneath them, and were a little taken by the consistent instrument problems (ones that wouldn't happen if they didn't end every show... in what's becoming oh-so-yawnsome "smash it all" ending) After fumbling through two songs or so... the band became chatty with Detroit crowd and gave the first of many warm and memorable quotes. As Conrad was trying to get his guitar (that continued to feed in and out) to play "Another Morning Stoner" a little hand extended from the crowd offering a bottle of Captain Morgan's. Gleefully excepted, "You know... this isn't going to help matters."

They have lots of energy, changing of instruments, different styles all together (punk & melodies), equipment demolition & great music. They seem to have more of a cult following than anything else... what, am I member? After the show, TOD walked around the venue just talking to fans who waited around hoping to chat with one of the guys. I cornered each one and they all signed my 'Relative Ways' vinyl EP. Pretty nice guys, I look forward to seeing them again.
