How shall we describe the TOD gig? Well, for starters they haven't played live for a while and they were rusty. It was a 100 billion degrees (literally) which did affect the quality of sound. Finally, half of their set was comprised of new songs they never played before. This was my first time seeing them and i thought they were great under the circumstances. In particular, some of the new songs (the first new song and the song that Jason sang but didn't play guitar) were outstanding. However, one of the new songs did stink, I believe it was the second, but hey, what can you do.

Furthermore, the new drummer/percussionist was awesome which definitely has me more intrigued as to what they can do in the future with their sound, especially live. Basically, despite the sound and heat there was still plenty of energy. Jason, who looked like he took a shower on stage, gained my respect by running around on stage in 100+ degree heat to pump some energy into the crowd. All in all, they were rusty and they did struggle a bit, but the new songs were intriguing and the old songs (Another Morning Stoner, Intelligence, and Ounce of Prevention) kicked some ass. Overall, my rating for the concert would be a 7.5.
