All together now, boys and girls:

"Tommy gun
Bloodlust
A perfect teenhood
FUCK YOU"

Fuck you? Fuck me, never have I felt so exhilarated. It's not like I didn’t know, like I wasn't fully prepared for the now ten-legged rock and roll monster that is this Texan troupe, this band of brothers that leave nothing but death and quite possibly tinnitus in their wake. I knew it'd be savage, with blood on the walls and sweat on the ceiling, but damn, as I stand here smiling like a fucking idiot child, I never once anticipated such ferocity. The naysayers can keep their false idols glamorised in the gutter press; the true believers can toss the deceivers onto the pyre and scatter their ashes over town from the peak of King's Reach Tower – this is rock and motherfucking roll.  --  Read More

The ...Trail of Dead bandwagon rolled into London last night, delighting fans with a host of new tracks from their hugely anticipated new album.

Playing to a sell-out ULU venue, the band performed their first UK concerts in over two years (after playing Glasgow the previous night), prior to a headline appearance at the All Tomorrow's Parties' 'Nightmare Before Christmas' show this weekend (December 4).

"London, it's good to be back" said frontman Conrad Keely before launching into the first of several new tracks, taken from their forthcoming "Worlds Apart" album. A new look line-up saw departed bassist Neil Busch replaced by Danny Wood, and second drummer Doni Schroader joining the live show.

Early reviews have already tipped the new album, released in January, as potentially one of the albums of 2005. Opening track "Will You Smile Again" was an astonishing, progressive rock opus, while "Classic Art Showcase" took the classic, hard-edged ...Trail Of Dead sound to new songwriting heights - coming in at over six minutes and augmented with classic arrangements.
